The Arenal Conservation area Tempisque has great environmental wealth , represented by primary forests where water is born that feeds the most important watersheds in the Region n . The presence of these hills and forests aleda r os os to represent important areas of biol cal corridors for different characteristics of the region n animals, as well as those passing through or biol great Mesoamerican corridor logical species. The problem is attacked with this project is DEGRADATION n ny contamination of soil, water , flora and fauna and climate change effects tico . In this sense the project calls for actions to conserve, preserve and protect the natural resources of water, soil , plant, air and wildlife which can obtain conditions that contribute to improving the environment overall health of the individual or individuals within the corridors ACAT cal biol . FUNDACA is an organization that has promoted the development of several projects involved in improving the welfare of the communities trav s the implementation of actions relating to the Protection and Conservation of the environment. With the execution of the Mesoamerican Corridor Project ACAT Biol logical definitions in greater detail the design or CB , this initiative involves the active participation of different sectors n towards the consolidation of the CB . Defined 8 CB, 4 with car altitudinal character between the Pacific coast and mountain ranges of Guanacaste and Tilar n , connect the other four major protected areas of high and low lands, volcanoes Rincon de la Vieja Miravalles, Tenorio Monteverde and Arenal area of the highlands and the Abangares Protected Area , Wildlife Refuge Cipanci the Green PNP, RBL Barbudal of the lowlands.
