Project Description
The objective of the Project is to mitigate climate change impact through conservation and joint management of the riparian woodlands in Kanibadam rayon, Sughd oblast. Project Tasks are to: 1. Introduce efficient methods of community-based environmental management through establishing demonstration plots for community-based forest management and creating conditions for fauna populations. 2. Ensure local population s access to information and their participation in planning and mainstreaming of adaptation measures in the Local Environmental Action Plan. 3. Establish a Rapid Response Team for conservation of the riparian woodlands of Kanibadam rayon.
