The Case of the Mangrove Association of Playa Blanca, La Palma de Jim nez (ASOMANGLE) Association is a nonprofit, community, and organization that began operating in 2000 as an initiative to care for and preserve the mangrove, c dula jur dica n number 3002-313007. The project emerged as a need to improve the quality of life of participants to a lack of job options in the area. Result of this concern, the proposed project n contribution to sustainable mangrove management of Playa Blanca, La Palma de Jim nez, whose general objective aims to achieve sustainable use and management of mangrove of Playa Blanca, La Palma de Jim nez arises, by the user of it, with prop site of proper performance econ mico and environmental, decreasing the pressure n on species overexploited and increasing income econ nomic people, and the main activities are: a - Growing of pianguas: Fitness plots to plant and harvest them pianguas then market them. To do so, coordinate with the Ministry of Environment and Energy at (MINAE) for the organization of the Supervisory Committee s Natural Resources (COVIRENA) by the Association. b-Plan accompaniment of the Association in its organizational strengthening: Strengthening the Association in knowledge and in the process to carry out the proposed activities; and secondly, to be the average of n extension of the Association to the community. c-Plan monitoring and protection of mangroves: n groups trained for monitoring mangrove and surrounding areas were trained surveillance.
