Environmental research

The project is aimed to reduce GHG emissions and demonstrate the use of energy saving technologies in public buildings of Oleksandrivsk, Lugansk region. The project outcomes will be achieved by the following: - conducting energy audit of the kindergarten; - replacing old windows on new energy-efficient; - implementing energy saving technologies in order to reduce GHG emissions on 8 000 t of CO2-equivalents per year. Raising public awareness, capacity building and improving the environmental literacy of Oleksandrivsk community are the integral parts of the project. The project is going to involve more than 6000 people into the project activities such as public hearings, environmental seminars, roundtable discussions, etc.
