The project aims to sensitise people of the Turnu Ruieni commune to climate change aspects and to educate them by means of the green lab and an online mountain manual to be issued under the project that will be accessible to all social layers, including disadvantaged ones. The manual will be utilised in an interactive manner, and there will be research activities on site, information and awareness raising activities through workshops, press conferences, brochures. There will be high involvement of the local authorities and the community in environmental recovery of the forest ecosystem Muntele Mic, in utilising traditional land management techniques to counteract the desertification danger due to uncontrolled deforestation. The joint actions of the community are also aimed at preventing the decline of the Zervesti daffodils in the hayfields of the protected area of Turnu Ruieni.
