Project Description
The primary objective of the proposed project is to help build capacities of environmental NGOs in Belarus and increase their participation in waste management policy formulation and enforcement. . Specifically, the project will (a) identify the existing regulatory, legal, administrative, procedural, organizational and behavioral gaps hampering the enforcement of waste management policy; (b) Design and implement public participation instruments (platforms, communication channels and procedures) for policy dialogue between civil society organizations, environmental NGOs, ordinary citizens and government decision-makers responsible for waste management.
