Assistance to two (2) indigenous communities on watershed conservation/management and installation of micro hydropower system towards achieving food sufficiency. The project will involve the development of a micro-hydropower system and installation of postharvest facilities in Adugao and Caguyen, Apayao. The design of the system have a dual purpose to include power generation and development of the irrigation system. This scheme will pave way for the opening or expansion of rice fields. The project also encompasses conservation/protection of forest and river ecosystems and livelihood development efforts.
