Environmental policy and administrative management

The project will create awareness about GEF/SGPand environmental issues among the common people using the platform of small regional level CBO/NGO and activists. This will enable to create a cadre of workers willing to initiate projects on issues related to GEF. This falls in line with the devolution plan of the government at the district level potentially identifying workers who can make efforts at the district level in this new system of power decentralization. GEF has already signed a memorandum of understanding with the RSP`s Network and is planing to make the RSP`s grassroots community set up as the base for the programme orientation and awareness in the form of trickle down effect.
