Rouche Protected area is located in Halah region, north-eastern part of Socotra. The PA is located 400m off shore. Communities in the two neighbouring villages establishement of basic infrusttructure and capacity to host eco-tourism especially that their PA has significant coral and rocks attract significant number of tourists without being guided for mutual benefits. The project will ensure the followings: Water supply, and basic infrustructure e. g. Kitchen, Store, Dinning shade, bathrooms, Solar energy sysem for lighting, capacity building, and bedding. The project will raise environmental awareness among communities towards sustanable management of the ecosystem in Rouche PA and the two neighbouring PA (one is an important cafe).
