Environmental policy and administrative management

Tidaah region consist of mainly Rangeland area used by pastoralist from Qalancia district, during their rotational grazing in the area. It s located on the north side of the road after the Abelhen and extends through plateau till Ras Qadamah. The area has no water resources and pastoralist had to take their livestock distance away to access water at Shatah water point. This causes severe animal movement between grazing area and the limited access to water each other day. Pastoralists propose building 21 rain-water harvest cisterns to allow their animal access water within the grazing areas. The total water harvest capacity is 5200 cubic meters. The total numbers of families benefited from projects are 180 families with 1200 inhabitants. Awareness rising of the importance of Rangelands management will be promoted among pastoral community in the area
