Water resources policy and administrative management

The project purpose is to improve agricultural practices and environmental conservation as well as promoting income-generating activities. The Sango Bay ecosystem on the western side of Lake Victoria extends into Tanzania and the communities in both Uganda and Tanzania are degrading it by cutting trees for timber, making charcoal, and hunting wild animals for food. The project is promoting tree planting and improved agricultural productivity to reduce th communities` impact on the Sango Bay Forest Reserve.
