The aim of the project is arranging boat station, bicycle paths, horse trails, and promotion of using non motorized transport and green tourism in the area. Ecotourism development is important for residents of surrounding villages, since the increasing flow of tourists will improve the economic situation in the region. The territory covered by the project has a Christian spring of St. Anne`s, which is a pilgrimage destination of thousands of Christians. The project will introduce the new approach of non using motorized transport by the tourists in this piece of nature. One of the goals of this project is to promote green tourism and decrease the negative environmental changes. This project provides an opportunity to conserve natural conditions of nature. The main condition for sustainable tourism is the desire to achieve a balance between the needs of the environment, society needs and the needs of local communities. This project will bring these forms of tourism and tourism infrastructure, which will reflect the attitude toward present and future state of the environment, and at the same time will take into account the economic development of local communities and preserve their cultural identity. The implementation of the project provide economic development of the area, since it involves different sectors, retail trade, catering, transport and excursions, souvenirs production. The project activity is of special significance in the concept of sustainable tourism. It is organized and operated on the principles of sustainable development, taking into account elements of ecological education, which brings financial contribution to the protection of nature. The project will be undertaken by organizing hiking trips, bicycle or horse trips, swimming, boating. Such holidays, close to nature, satisfy educational, cultural, aesthetic and moral needs. In addition, the attractiveness of this territory together with the implementation of the project will increase the flow of tourists, which in turn will provide additional revenues to the economy of the region and will increase employment. On the other hand, the use of non motorized transport means will be promoted and demonstrated. The project foresees the dissemination of information on climate change, non motorized transport and ecotourism, as part of a balanced use of natural resources through the media and the Internet. During this project it is planned to carry out organizational work on public awareness as well as practically demonstrated the benefits of green tourism and non-motorized transport.
