Project Description
The project is aimed to increase environmental education and ecological awareness on climate change issues among schoolchildren by establishing Ecological Information Centre in Radomyshl gymnasium of Zhytomyr region. The project is going to achieve its objective by implementation of the following activities: - replace old windows on new energy-efficient ones; - install technical equipment that will promote the use of energy-saving technologies and address the issues of climate change; - prepare and publish special literature in order to raise awareness on environmental issues and improve the environmental literacy; - develop partnerships among educational institutions and share best practices; - conduct informative and educational sessions for schoolchildren; - carry out seminars devoted to the problems of climate change.
