Bio-diversity

The project will directly facilitate community adaptation to climate change by developing communication materials for community water management related to school management. The project will target to provide additional support to improve water infrastructure within Reserve water tanks that will be built at Onesua, which will provide water to students and staff in times of need. A training module will be developed for school plumbers in water management and maintance of the school water infrastructure. Communication will be provided. The project will become a model to teach water conservation and management to other schools as well. Since students come to Onesua from many different islands throughout Vanuatu, many will return to their home communities with acquired water management skills and knowledge which will then be transferred on to others.
