Location of project: A low land Cultivated area in Tambol Nongsua, Maung District, Pathumthani Province a central region of the Thailand which is an integrated ecosystems of the Gulf of Thailand. The land has been used intensively for paddy and other cash crop with considerable amount of applied chemical substances. Target Population: 535 families in project location with 535 members who practices farming (paddy, orchards and decoration plants) , where 100 families are direct project participants. Main Activities: 1. Conducting detailed community survey to reconfirm data & information 2. Building technical and institutional capacity of target population 3. Launching activities to demonstrate the use of organic rice to produce organic fertilizer, sustainable use of fire-woods and , as well as keeping records 4. Conduction participatory evaluation 5. Disseminating project results and networking Main Anticipated Result: 1. Acquired required data & information , approaches and 300 more members who have real faith in organic farming 2. At least 224-ha paddy field being kept and maintained organically with produced 100-ton organic fertilizer 3. Produced 10 tons of charcoal with 750,000 litres of wood vinegar 4.
