Project Description
The project aims at providing alternative livelihoods will relieving pressure on marine (reef fisheries and mangrove forests) at the coast region of Kenya. The NGO will a) use a participatory process to carry out analysis b) facilitate farm planning and layouts in 12 selected farms and 2 demonstration sites c) facilitate planting of high value crops on farms d) facilate market linkages e) design and implement participatory monitoring system. A consultant will be contracted.
