POPS play a greater role in our life. But the problem is that population knows nothing about POPs, and their influence on environment and people health. And this problem generates set of others, when population uses container of pesticides in the household purposes, children play on the destroyed and not protected warehouses with the out-of-date pesticides, oil containing in transformers and condensers is used by the population for filling of hydraulic mechanisms. Annually during the spring period in cities leaves are burnt, garbage tanks in court yard are burnt. The project is directed on informing of the public about POPs, development of measures on reduction of POPs formation in municipality, involving of the public into the POPs problems settlement. Within the project implementation a TV program POPs in our life will be demonstrated, leaflets will be distributed among population during actions, articles will be published in local and regional printed editions, lectures for ecologists of the industrial enterprises will be conducted, a round table " POPs and health " with participation of government officials, students, public organizations will be arranged, a number of proposals on POPs formation decreasing will be developed to be further lobbing at the local level, a number of actions will take place, a round table with the heads of cooperative housings will be conducted.
