As such there is erosion l which carries all the land to the Lake causing siltation of the Lake, which d destroys the zone of fear for the fish. The pr this project intends to upgrade the Lake by focusing on the protection and conservation of l agroecosystem me of Lake Rweru. This re Mani, l am management of catchment areas around the Lake, the reforestation of the littotral by l aeschynomene elaphroxylon and the limitation d a d buffer according to the law in the mati re between the banks of the Lake and the farmlands, the fight against hyacinth d freshwater, awareness and the mobilization of the entire population living proximity of the Lake as well as l framework of associations of p fishermen on the Lake could be pillars very important in protection, conservation and restoration of biodiversity of Lake Rweru.
