Baliga Fishnets has commissioned a new production line of 40,000 kgs/month fishing lines & 15,000 kgs/month fishing twine manufacturing unit at Hanumantha Nagar, Puttur, dist. Udupi, Karnataka. The cost of the project is Rs. 70 million. The project was commissioned in October 2017. The company also manufactures net making machines, which produces monofilament and multifilament nets in 6.5mm and 7mm pitch which are being sold under brand name `Baliga`. [Info as of: Nov. `17]
