Carl Bechem Lubricants (India), a part of Carl Bechem Germany, is planning an expansion of its specialty lubricants, greases and metal working fluids manufacturing unit from 12,000 TPA to 24,000 TPA at Bidadi Industrial Area, dist. Ramanagara, Karnataka on 1 acre additional land. The expansion project will entail increase in product line by building up new facility adjacent to the existing plant premises, which will manufactures various greases to pertaining to urea grease, lithium grease, aluminium grease, high viscous oil, mineral & synthetic gear oils & rolling oil. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 200 million, will be funded through internal accruals. Karnataka based architect has been appointed. Civil contractor & equipment supplier is yet to be appointed. The project is waiting for building plan approval from the State Government. Work on the project is planned to commence in January 2018 & the project is expected for completion in 2020. [Info as of: Sept. `17]
