D R Coats Ink And Resins proposes an expansion of its resin manufacturing unit from 630 TPM to 7,430 TPM at MIDC Tarapur, dist. Raigad, Maharashtra on 16,675 sq. mtrs of existing land. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 33 million. The project has been applied for environmental clearance. The expansion involves of augmentation of exiting product resin blending from 630 TPM to 11,20 TPM and addition of new products ie. 1,300 TPM of ployamides resins, 10 TPM of ketonic resin, 300 TPM of phenolic resin, 1,000 of acrylic resin, 1,000 of polyster resin, 300 TPM of amino resin, 1,500 TPM of polyurethane, 300 TPM of rosin esters and 600 TPM of alkyd resin.
