Northern Coalfields is planning an expansion of Dudhichua opencast coal mine project from 10 MTPA(Normative)/15.5 MTPA (Peak) to 20 MTPA (Normative)/25 MTPA (Peak) at Post Khadia, dist. Sonebhadra, Uttar Pradesh & Madhya Pradesh on 2,390.722 hectares of land. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 135.918 million. The mining area lies in two states, partly in Uttar Pradesh & partly in Madhya Pradesh. The project is waiting for environmental clearance. [Info as of: Jan. `18]
