Project aims to reduce the load on the small trans-boundary river Aspara by means of water saving technologies to be implemented in agriculture in Merke district, Zhambyl oblast. Project tasks: 1) to reduce water use from Aspara river during irrigation season by using efficient water use practices; 2) enhance local community capacity on new methods and practices of efficient agriculture and water saving technologies
