The Participatory Local Community Rangeland Management implemented by Barrat Dana cooperative society for livestock owners generally aims to protect the biodiversity of Barrat Dana area which lies within Dana natural reserve from depletion because of the grazing and tourism activities also contribute to the reduction of pastures degradation by regulating the housing, grazing activities during the grazing season. The project aims to: -Pharmacy veterinary treatments. - Training program for livestock owners on fattening and nutrition concepts in the site. -Provide tools of herds management and used by members of the society. -Assembly crew training in the field of project management. -Develop a plan for the grazing in barrat dana in participation with the owners of Dana and Qadisiyah herds. -Conduct awareness sessions the hikers from Dana and Qadisiyah villages on the concept of eco-tourism. -Train livestock owners about environmentally friendly practices.
