Environmental research

The main aim of the project is to invest at the Administration and Education Center - Prespa National Park with particular attention shifting in solar energy use for general heating as an alternative for protection and renewal of natural resources. This area is considered favorable in terms of geographical position for implementing sucs an idea.Strong awareness campaigns will be developed in order to aware local community on the advantages of solar heating as the alternative for protection of natural wealth in the zone. An exhibition and a seminar will be organised with a wide participation of local community, GEF/SGP and ECAT-Tirana. The main aim is to disseminate the idea and to find out the ways how to apply it for heating houses Publications and leaflets will be published about energetic resources in harmony with protection and development of biodiversity in the area.. 6 solar panels for heating and other additional necessary equipment will be purchased to ensure the general heating of the Center All the purchased equipment will be fitted in the Center.
