The project, located in the protected area (AP) Esteros de Farrapos and Islands of R or Uruguay (Department of Paysand), raises two main objectives. The first consists in ordering an activity tail that ap is est implemented in AP in a disorganized way, and to adapt it to the AP. management guidelines In turn, this implies a territorial reordering of the hives currently installed on the AP, group and organizational strengthening of the beekeepers involved in the project and the processing n of an agreement for the management of the hives within the AP. Is prev also n the perform n of measures to enhance the producci n of hives. The second objective aims at reducing the indiscriminate felling of the native forest, as contributing to the conservation of biodiversity in the AP. n It has to improve its production n ap queue, the beekeepers involved reducing logging resource for their subsistence. At the same time be prev transform their pr practices in selective logging, for the removal species n former practices.
