Environmental research

The project is aimed to increase environmental education and ecological awareness on climate change issues among schoolchildren by establishing Ecological Information Centre in Sarny gymnasium, Rivne region. The project is going to achieve its objective by implementation of the following activities: - replace old windows on new energy-efficient ones; - install technical equipment that will promote the use of energy-saving technologies and address the issues of climate change; - prepare and publish a collection of children compositions in order to spread awareness on environmental issues and improve the environmental literacy; - create environmental web-portal and maintain on a regular basis web-page "Ecological Bulletin" and partnership network; - conduct informative and educational sessions for more than 400 schoolchildren; - carry out an official opening of Ecological Information Centre and a conference devoted to the problems of climate change; - participate in UNDP and civil society activities devoted to the RIO +20 Summit.
