Trimex Heavy Minerals, belonging to the Trimex Group. is planning a heavy mineral beach sand mining project at Village Rajapuram & Bhavanapadu, dist. Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. The land area is 1,788 hectares. Bhagavathi Ana Labs is the consultant. The project is waiting for environmental clearance. According to MoEF reports, the project will comprise of a 10 MTPA heavy mineral beach sand mining and pre-concentration plant (1525 TPH) & mineral separation plant (270 TPH). [Info as of: Aug. `13]
