Description: 9 Security Deposit/ Performance Bond/ Contract Security 12.2% of Contract value. Note: 1.1 The person/persons, whose bid is accepted (hereinafter called Contractor ) shall submit Security Deposit/ Performance Bond/ Contract Security equal to 12.2% of contract value, in the form of Bank Draft / Cashier s cheque / Banker s cheque/NEFT/RTGS/Electronic fund transfer to designated account of ONGC or in lieu thereof unconditional and irrevocable Performance Bond, in the form of Bank Guarantee as per ONGC s standard Performa, provided in the tender document within 15 days from the date of issue of Notification of Award (NOA)/ Letter of Acceptance (LA)/ Letter of Acceptance-cum-Work Order (LA-cum-WO), unless he is/ they are exempted from payment of security deposit in individual case.
