Basic Pharma Life Science proposes a bulk drug intermediates and API manufacturing unit at GIDC Estate, dist. Bharuch, Gujarat. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 40 million. The current status of the project could not be ascertained. According to MoEF sources, Excel Enviro Tech is the environmental consultant. The company has an existing unit for manufacturing of 2,856 TPA bulk drug and API formulations. The project will involve addition of new products like 324 TPA chlorohexadine base, 20 TPA chlorohexadine hydrochlorid, 20 TPA chlorohexadine acetate, 18 TPA etoricoxib, 18 TPA febuxostat, 30 TPA doxofylline, 12 TPA tramadol hydrochloride, 6 TPA montelukast sodium, 3 TPA nebivolol hydrochloride, 3 TPA rosuvastatin calcium, 6 TPA bisoprolol, 2.4 TPA other organic chemical product manufacturing for R & D Purpose only.
