Surfica India is planning a resin & laminated sheet manufacturing unit at Village Amodra, dist. Sabarkantha, Gujarat on 19,966 Sq. mtrs. of acquired land. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 13 million exclusive of laminated sheet manufacturing unit. The unit will manufacture 350,000 sheets/month of laminated sheets, 900 TPM of Phenol Formaldehyde Resin, 300 TPM of Melamine Formaldehyde Resin. TR Associates is the environmental consultant. Contract is from in-house team. The project is waiting for environmental clearance. Construction work for laminated sheets unit will be started from January 2018. Resin manufacturing plant will be only started after obtaining environmental clearance. [Info as of: Oct. `17]
