The agroecosystem my mangroves are home to a wide spectrum of diversity biological v g tale and animal. But these agroecosystem my are s threatened to B nin because mangroves have a status of common good, which entitles any individual d exploit the resources of these formations without prior authorization and without any control the. Some sites remain without r g n ration from the ann, d g ts are important and visible on the ground. There is also the disappearance of the fauna of the mangrove li e r l space reduction, which translates into a decrease in fisheries productivity which constitutes a serious s threat to daily survival populations. In the management of wetlands, several structures governmental or not intervened to restore, development and conservation of the mangrove of South-B nin. The cl actors are local communities (men, women, children, authority s) and l the project team. Women are the driving forces of the development in all s village. They all participate activities li es p che, mara display and the production of salt. Thus, they are taken into account and adh rent to ECO-eco projects. They are very representative feels es in comit them s l NGOs implemented in s village. They have freedom of expression and participate actively in the various sessions of decisions taken s. No discrimination between man and woman n is made, women have access to cr so-called enabling d develop their activities. The overall goal of the project is to contribute l am improvement of productivity of the lagoon c ti re. The goal sp specific is to promote the restoration and conservation of biodiversity of mangrove in 5 villages in the districts of Houakp-daho. The results expected are: lagoon c ti re rationally exploit e biological resources are restored and kept financing demand to the SGP/GEF s l 11 662 150 ve CFA 23 $000 and will ECO-green to continue conservation actions for a participatory and sustainable management of the specific actions of awareness through mangrove, training for a better conservation of l agroecosystem me and a better organization of the activities which are li.
