Sam Global Chemicals (India) is planning a synthetic resins manufacturing unit at SIPCOT Industrial Park, Village Mambakkam, dist. Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu on 1.17 acres of leased land. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 40 million. Contractor has been appointed. Machinery will be procured locally. The project is waiting for environmental clearance & other approvals. Project completion schedule is 9-12 months from the date of start of works. According to MoEF sources, the products include 4,000 TPA alkyd resin, 4,000 TPA poly ester resin, 3,000 TPA epoxy acrylate and 1,000 TPA lacquers. The proposed greenbelt area is 0.3869 acres. 4 KLD STP & 4 KLD ETP are proposed. The power requirement will be 250 KW, which will be sourced from TNEB. [Info as of: Mar. `17]
