The main actions of this workshop are to foster a dialogue about the experiences of peoples ind nous with protected areas , the biol logical corridor in the use and management of resources and the relationship n with ind nous rights . Adem s traditional knowledge to share experiences in the use and management of resources within territories ind gena or traditional management plans , as well as to develop a proposal of recognition of ancestral lands as ind nous category as protective of natural resources and TK ind nous peoples . This workshop is part of the regional preparatory process for the Mesoamerican Congress of protected areas to be held in Managua, Nicaragua March 2003, which in turn is preparatory to the V World Congress on Protected Areas , with the prop site of present experience ind nous peoples of Costa Rica with Protected areas and logical Biol Corridor , as well as the experiences of the use and management plans or traditional management ind nous peoples over their resources in order to prepare a proposal for national recognition nous territories as ind category as protective of natural resources , including sacred sites such as protective category systems ancestral land management plans and traditional knowledge, in order to take actions and commitments of states and na COOPERATION environmental consulting for ind nous peoples .
