Environmental policy and administrative management

This planning grant will assist the grantee in developing an ecological restoration project for the Isnare River by marrying scientific methods with a participatory process. The project aims over time to reduce soil erosion and land slippage; improve water quality; and generally to improve environmental quality. The project will use GIS Mapping techniques, undertake research, convene several meetings and workshops, establish baselines using photographs and finally prepare a Full Grant Project Proposal for funding.
