Bio-diversity

The main aim of the project is rising of public awareness for the protection of real values of Bozdovec-Dardhe-National Park. A special attention should be given to the training and promotion of local communities for preservation of rare trees, through putting tables, cleaning up and planting new saplings. An important element is considered also the strengthening of co-operation among NGOs, ocal authorities and other relevant institutions with local communities and particularly with young generation. A monitoring study will be undertaken to identify the real situation in this Park, damages recently caused to the trees in order to point out ways for halting further damages in this area. A new ecological center will be established in Dardha, aiming environmental education of people, especially of young generation. Different activities will be undertaken within frame of public awareness. Thus, leaflets, posters and questioners will be published and distributed, a photo exhibition will be opened, round tables will be held and so on.
