Environmental policy and administrative management

The project aims at promoting sustainable land use management through community involvement. With the coming of the dam and the associated developments, it is envisaged that there could be indiscriminate harvesting of veld products and poaching. The intention is therefore to raise awareness and appreciation of natural resources with view of encouraging sustainable use.The objectives will be achieved through a series of kgotla meetings, dialogue with stakeholders through a workshop, registration as a legal entity to enable access to funds and production of a proposal for a full project.
