Environmental research

The overall goal of the project is to develop the integrated commercially farming as effectively use of their available resource in a sustainable manner of agricultural production that are compatible with climate change adaptation and habitats of biodiversity. To achieve this goal, there will be two main objectives as: - Increase food production using integrated techniques in small farm, - Develop farmers and CBO/NGOs partners capacity to get the ideas related to the development concept proposals. The project will work closely with 30 mall farmers and 30 people of 15 CBOs/NGOs partners based in Takeo`s Samrong district. And the more anticipated results are shown as following: - At least 20 farms will be constructed the integrated three components of agricultural production - 15 chicken producer groups will be set up with the members of 150 families and 10 organic rice producer groups will be set up with the members of 100 families. All of them are involved in the marketing with CEDAC Natural Agri-Product (NAP). - 30 people of 15 CBOs/NGOs partners are involved in those activities. They also have the opportunity to learn about how to set up the integrated commercial farm and farmer producer group and marketing. Especially, they get the experiences how is the process and approach of the project and to mobilize the ideas related to the development concept proposals.
