Environmental policy and administrative management

A piece of land with an area of (10 dunnums) will be rented for this project. The land is partially planted with olive trees and the rest will be used to build 3 plastic houses for herbal and medical planting. Water will be provided for irrigation by a water harvesting well which was built and granted by the ministry of agriculture. The forum has contributed by building an environmentally friendly mud house which will be used for training workshops for the blind and also act as an activity centre. The piece of land will therefore be turned into an activity area for the members of the forum to increase their environmental awareness by interacting with nature. This project aims at integrating individuals with special needs with sustainable rural agro-development by conserving the natural plant cover and biodiversity. It will also aspire to increase their environmental awareness and help conserve olive trees.
