Environmental policy and administrative management

The combination of the past two projects funded by GEF/SGP to this NGO has helped promote sustainable land management practices, environmental and socio-economic status of the local community, and better create environmental management. Therefore, this project is aimed to help complete this overall objective by improving the marketability of the produced medical and herbal plants and further increase that production. This improvement would also occur by investing in the required equipment, which will enhance the quality and packaging of the product to satisfy the consumers and suppliers in the market. This project will help improve the packaging and quality of the manufactured products, to help increase marketability. These products will also be connected with Fare Trade activities and will later be injected into the market. It will also increase the marketing of herbal and medicinal plants, by negotiating and contracting with big suppliers, and finally enhance the status of women in the community through upgrading their skills, which will later be connected to activities already functioning in the society.
