Due to the increase of population and food production, the need to alter the agricultural practices was needed to reduce the use of chemical pesticides in order to maintain a higher agricultural productivity and healthier food. Therefore project focus on helping a number of farmers in several regions in the provinces of north, center and south of the Kingdom to convert to organic production through following an organic techniques and utilizing of natural extracts to control pests and improve soil fertility. The importance of the project relays in introducing new agricultural pattern preserve the environment, health and avoid the use of agricultural chemicals through a number of objectives: Raising awareness among farmers and consumers about organic farming and its role in the production of healthy food. Convert a number of farms in a number of regions of the Kingdom to organic production. Training the farmers on organic production techniques and assist those in obtaining an organic agriculture certificate which improves the opportunities for marketing their organic products which will also improve the level of income for individuals. This project will contribute to the protection of the environment and reduce the impact of agricultural chemical contaminants on public health. Jordan is one of those countries that suffer from the effects of climate change and the shortage of water due to the decreasing amounts of rainfall and high temperature.
