Project Description
The project aims at increasing community participation in decision making, considering the economic needs of the local people and biodiversity protection in the Creasta Cocosului Reserve and its buffer zone. The activities include: capacity building of the local groups to enhance participatory planning of nature-friendly management of the local forrests, grasslands and upland wetlands; sustainable harvesting and use of natural products, i.e. non-timber forrest products; job creation through eco-tourism development.
